- The locking teeth push into the material of the component that is being screwed and block the inward unlocking torque in the unscrewing direction
- The material that is being screwed must demonstrate a significantly lower hardness in comparison to the screw (surface hardness of the screw: min. 250 HV)
- Suitable for short clamping lengths in particular
