Approved screw for adjustable spacing assembly of wooden substructures on wood
Ideal power transmission thanks to RW drive
- More power thanks to a larger contact surface on the bit
- More stability, one-handed work, precise attachment thanks to the plug-in effect and the perfect fit of the bit
- Fewer bit changes, 1 bit for many screw diameters
- Compatibility with the previous AW drive
- Fixed connection of two pieces of wood through the ring-shaped fixing grooves on the underside of the head with a larger diameter than the screw diameter
- The distance can be adjusted between two components by turning the screw backwards
- Optimal coordination of drill tip and thread geometry
- Excellent anchoring in the wood thanks to the asymmetrical arrangement of the thread flanks
- Attachment and drilling without chipping
- Best drilling performance and exact drilling process thanks to drilling cutting edges (similar to Forstner bits)
- Precise positioning on hard surfaces without slipping thanks to the centering pin
- Quick screwing due to the gentle thread start
- Coordinated heat treatment guarantees high strength values and at the same time guarantees high ductility
Note
- Do not use the screw in directly weathered applications or in damp rooms with an atmosphere containing chlorine gas. For use outdoors and in rooms that are constantly exposed to high levels of humidity, please use ASSY 4 A2 or A4 stainless steel screws and, if the atmosphere contains chlorine, HCR stainless steel screws
- ASSY 4, ASSYplus 4 and ASSYplus 4 VG chipboard screws are optimized for use in wood and wood-based materials. For applications in plastic anchors, where a reduction of the load capacity is also possible, only use screws without an optimized thread tip (tip milling cutter, drill bit, scraper groove, etc.), such as the JAMO 4 CS, ASSY D screws with countersunk head or pan head

For wood-wood connections designed for adjustment
The fixing grooves arranged in a ring on the underside of the head and having a larger diameter than the screw diameter create a fixed connection between two pieces of wood when installed. Due to the irreversible fixation of the component to be connected and the reverse rotation of the screw, adjustable spacing between the components is possible.
For applications in usage class 1 and usage class 2 (from ∅> 4 mm)

- High-quality surface protection zinc blue passivated, chromium (VI) -free 8 µm layer thickness
- Suitable for use in usage class 1 (interior) and from a ∅> 4 mm in usage class 2 (damp areas or covered outdoor areas) according to EN 1995-1-1: 2010-12 + DIN SPEC 1052-100: 2013-08
- The requirement of the classification T2 / C2 according to prEN 14592: 2017 (D) is fulfilled
manual
- JAMO screws are approved for quasi-static loads
- The precisely fitting RW bit should be used for optimal use of the screw
