But in our fast-growing market we saw the opportunity to grow with our customers and why not offer them a range which will be more cost effective for their business line.

At the Kick-off conference we introduced the first phase of our RedStripe hand tools and with huge excitement- now the day is here – The Big Launch! Whoop Whoop!

Our goal with red Stripe will be to continuously expand our RedStripe product assortment.

Over the past years, RedLine products successfully established themselves as top growth drivers on designated markets. To continue building on this success and to follow the suggestion of the RedLine -selling countries, the RedStripe Team has decided to redevelop selected RedLine products and integrate them into RedStripe.

Hand tools are essential for day-to-day jobs. They have been used by humans since ancient times to compete various useful tasks.

Hand tools range from screw drivers, wrenches, sockets, allen keys and more – all of which are extremely useful in completing a variety of fastening and loosening tasks. If you want the best results for your work, it is important to know the construction of their hand tools and to know a tools proper usage. Lack of knowledge or negligence may lead to several mistakes, injuries and rework.

Hand tools are classified in different groups:

  • Laying out of tools – measuring tools

Allen Keys and a hex key is a simple tool that is used to drive bolts and screws with a hexagonal socket in their heads. These tools are L shaped with unequal arms. Allen keys are mainly used for furniture repair, to fix bicycles or bikes, etc.

CRV Steel Blade: CRV stands for a steel alloy (a substance formed from the combination of two or more metals).

Anti-Slip Handle: The blade is coated with a thick layer of textured matte chrome that offers a nice sturdy grip.

Warranty Terms and Conditions for Würth Zebra and Red Stripe Hand Tools

In accordance with the following terms and conditions, Würth Zebra and Red Stripe hand tools are covered by a lifetime factory fault warranty. This warranty is only applicable to the person/business that originally purchased the product directly from Würth South Africa and is valid from the date of purchase granted that an invoice for the product in question is provided. Würth commit, with certain exceptions, to exchange or repair any product which, upon examination by Würth, is deemed to have flaws or defects in either the manufacturing process and/or input components/materials.

This Warranty will not apply if:

  • Damages arise from product abuse, misuse, improper application, accidental damage, lack of maintenance, general wear and tear or any repair attempted by someone other than an official Würth approved repairer.
  • The product has not been used or maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions as provided with the product.
  • The product is used in an application where it is not fit for purpose. This includes, but is not limited to observance of correct tensile strength ratings, suitable DIN/ISO standards, metric/imperial specifications, recommended tightening torques, or appropriate chemical product use.
  • The product has been stored incorrectly. This includes, but is not limited to exposure to high or low temperatures, incorrect UV or other light, or excessive moisture as per the manufacturers’ recommendations or stipulations of the Safety Data Sheet (where applicable).
  • All recommended preparation and/or treatment processes have not been carried out as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • The product or packaging has been modified in such a way that renders any prior specification, rating or classification void. This includes, but is not limited to Dangerous Goods, Flammability ratings or Safe Transport classifications.
  • All other hand tools supplied by Wurth, not forming part of the Zebra and/or Red Stripe range of tools will carry a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults/defects. Any, and all
