eCommerce Content Coordinator

Würth South Africa Co. (Pty) Ltd, is actively looking for a talented, passionate, experienced and qualified eCommerce Content Coordinator to join our team. The eCommerce Content Coordinator is a versatile position within the eCommerce team, responsible for both email marketing and digital platform updates. The role combines responsive email campaign building with day-to-day content and layout updates across online shops and the mobile app. Working closely with the Frontend Developer and the Marketing Department, the coordinator ensures that digital storefronts and customer touchpoints remain engaging, functional, and aligned with promotional campaigns
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Matric or NQF level 4
- Diploma, Degree, short-course certificate, or portfolio in Web Development, Digital Design, or E-commerce Systems
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with focus on responsive design and email client limitations.
- Experience with E-commerce CMS, product catalogs, and Email Service Providers (ESPs).
- Basic understanding or willingness to learn mobile app content management.
- Proactive in troubleshooting layout and rendering issues across browsers and email applications.
- Team player, eager to learn, follow developer guidance, and grow in a fast-paced retail tech environment.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Online Shop & App Content Management: Take direct ownership of day-to-day content updates across our eCommerce websites and mobile application. This includes updating product grids, banners, promotional displays, and ensuring overall visual consistency.
- Email Content & Template Development: Build, test, and deploy engaging email marketing campaigns and automated layouts. Maintain and optimize HTML/CSS email templates to ensure responsiveness across all major email clients and devices.
- Landing Page Customization: Design and build highconverting, tailored landing pages for marketing campaigns, focusing on user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimization.
- Campaign Rollouts: Facilitate the seamless execution of promotional campaigns by coordinating real-time front-end layout changes and asset placement across all digital touchpoints.
- Basic Front-End Updates: Execute minor front-end enhancements and styling adjustments using modern web standards under the guidance of the engineering team.
- First-Line Support: Act as the first point of contact for contentrelated digital queries or layout bugs, troubleshooting basic issues and escalating technical platform bugs to developers when necessary.
